Glastonbury 2023

I'm and back into the swing of things. Hopefully everyone that went had an amazing time....it's hard not to. Greatest place on earth for those five days.

My highlights...
Theatre and circus field. Spent a day there on Thursday. Superb fun.
Watching the Arctic Monkeys play Mardy Bum with my wife. It was the first dance at our wedding.
Fred Again.. absolutely incredible occassion. Sunset, energy from the crowd, great set, lots of love in that crowd.
South East corner. Soo much going on in there...head's on a swivel.
The Hives, Lana Del Rey, Cat Stevens, Lizzo, Courteeners and Lightning Seeds were all great gigs.
and of course Elton. The best headline set of all time. Incredible.

Taylor Swift won't headline next year. She's already playing Dublin on Friday and Saturday night. She still might add the Sunday as an extra night in Dublin.

It'll be Dua Lipa (nailed on), possibly Madonna and someone like The 1975, Dave or Harry Styles.

Sam Fender I reckon. He'll be touring behind his 3rd album next summer. Having said that the new Foo Fighters tour has a suspicious gap right on the weekend of next years festival, and Dave said "we'll see you next summer" at the end of their set on Friday

Could well be. I have a feeling though he might do a year off as he's been touring a while. I don't think his health is brilliant either. I reckon Taylor Swift and Fender for 2025.

Even if they don't headline he'll be 'guesting' on a number of acts won't he?

He will be after his next album. Glastonbury historically like to give a leg up to emerging artists of a certain stature. He's ripe for that right now.
Really cant see it and how do you know how his new album will go down it might be *****
