YORKSHIRE heading for promotion.

Finally a few promising young spinners doing well in County cricket after a big dearth. 18 year old Archie Vaughan at Somerset (all rounder), Rehan Ahmed's younger brother at Notts (only 16 took 10 wickets in the match on his debut), Carson at Sussex and Jack Leach back in the wickets. Hopefully some good options for England going forwards. Bashir will have to keep on improving, particularly his control to keep his spot long term.
Shame Yorkshire don't have a decent spinner - Bess is okay but more an all rounder, not a great wicket taker and Moriarty doesn't really spin it much at all.

15 points ahead, 2 games to play against the teams in 6th and 7th place.

Middlesex have top and bottom to play. Derbyshire are rubbish, Sussex will be promoted so might not care.

Some game at somerset today, just watched the highlights on their website.
Title race still open
