Did offline after I`d completed it first go round with the communityI should have said there were times I thought it was a master piece. I think if you do get into it, then you really get into it. Also, interested why you suggested playing it offline? The online "community" was one of the best parts in my opinion.
Yep already got it ready to install when its released. There’s a PS5 upgrade for Death Stranding coming out soon I think, might be worth waiting for that.
Read today that Back 4 Blood (sequel to Left 4 Dead) has a beta next week as well, looking forward to that releasing.
The trouble is that all of the silly issues for electronics are related. There is a perfect storm of things like brexit, semiconductor shortages, limited silicon manufacturing capacity, DDR4 ram etc and pc components & games consoles share a lot of these parts. This is incredibly frustrating. Thanks to @ThatFragranceGuy I know have some decent twitter alerts set up. You need to be really quick though. I'm clicking on them and they are all going really really quickly.
I'm definitely going to have to go the "bundle" route. One bundle keeps popping up all the time but I've been put of because it's too expensive and includes a gaming headset and 4 games I don't want. I guess I'll have to take the pain and recoup some of my losses by selling the titles.
This is going to sound stupid but I genuinely don't know how to set up the discord channels. I've never used it before and can't work out how it works. The trouble is that all of the silly issues for electronics are related. Some retailers I don’t even bother with (or at least didnt, as I’m talking past tense) eg Dixon’s as their infrastructure is terrible but watch out for game, very etc as you may wait in a queue but if you’re in early enough you’ll get one.
lot of the stock alert sites have discords too which are worth getting in cos you can see people discuss when stock is coming out through insider info
it’s definitely a race and fastest finger wins but I was already ready to pounce when my phone pinged.
for games consoles bundles are def the way to go and you’d probably only lose a few percent on item values in the bundles - sell on marketplace or Shpock to avoid ebay fees
Thanks! Have them on alert now@SmallTown not sure if it's one you're already following on Twitter but I got my PS5 in December purely from following IGN Deals UK https://twitter.com/IGNUKDeals and having notifications on for their tweets. They are usually bang on whenever someone has them in stock.
Prior to brexit I was getting most of my graphics cards and ps5’s from EU amazon sites. Had a few early this year but was definitely less after jan 1st!Thanks for your help @ThatFragranceGuy and @TheYorkshireTerrier !
I’ve now managed to procure one. From Amazon Italy of all places
I was just going to use an adopter. But good shout on the kettle leadPrior to brexit I was getting most of my graphics cards and ps5’s from EU amazon sites. Had a few early this year but was definitely less after jan 1st!
It doesn’t come with a uk plug btw but you just need a kettle lead to plug into the psu, iver on amazon.
I personally never like those adapters especially for high power stuff like computers and consoles. The eu plugs never see to fit as securely as our uk ones doI was just going to use an adopter. But good shout on the kettle lead
Glad to hear it, enjoy!!Thanks for your help @ThatFragranceGuy and @TheYorkshireTerrier !
