Value for money, absolutely has to be Gestede, but I don't think you can ignore how much of it was down to injuries
He was here for 3 and a half seasons, 156 league matches.
He missed nearly half of them through a constant stream of injuries, and only played in just over a third of those games in total, and only started 20.
Obviously he was poor in quite a few of the games he did manage to feature in, but I'm not sure he'd be our worst ever striker in terms of performances.
He came on as sub when we were already getting well beaten, then got badly injured 15 or 20 mins into the next game. No way can he feature in worst ever players.View attachment 53799
Well there you go! A glorious single appearance. Surely being so bad that you never get picked again qualifies?
He only played once does that count?Has anyone mentioned Caleb Folan?
Good call we will do the managers vote after wrapping up the strikersI still think Ben Roberts has been hard done to with Brad Guzan getting away with murder.

The bench to me looks like it’s missing a midfielder.. I would say Gay O’Neil completes a final 18 of the hapless and heartless.
The manager has to be Gordon Strachan.. gets my vote anyway.
Got injured in his first game didn't he. Went off.He was a hugely underwhelming signing, but if I remember correctly I think he was subbed on during a real thumping, then either got injured after that game or during the next, so not sure he put in enough bad games to get in this team.
Left winger tho.. Mark Yeates, Tarmo Kink, Carlos De Pena? Not happy with fisher in there he was a young lad in the Premier league and suffered with injuries would much prefer walking footballer supreme Kris boyd or pally fanny Connolly
Just scrolled all the way down looking for those exact two names!Garry MacDonald,
