Manager got too panicky way too early. Chucking bright upfront 5 minutes before the end of normal and we still had 13 mins added time. This caused the players to panic and been shocking since then

Brilliant to get as far as they did and they deserve applause for doing so, but the best team won, they were quicker, passing good, ball retention excellent, created more, but for Earps it would have been a heavier defeat.

Sadly, Spain were the better team, they were just so much better than us in the middle of the pitch...They did deserve the win, and I would be magnanimous about it, but their diving and faking and time wasting were intensely frustrating...(as was this ref, who was the same in the semi final. So many little instances that might have helped if she actually took control of the game properly. )
