William assaulted Harry...

It feels like a lot of the things being mentioned in here about Harry playing a public game should be taken in context, because it is not one sided, there has been daily articles about him and Meghan for at least two years, this hatchet job on him and his other family is relentless, so if he has struck back good luck to him, it's been disgusting the constant articles about him and it isn't the press generating them is it, it is the Royal family giving them to the press to report.

Surely Buck House will play their ace card soon and announce the bleedin' obvious that Harry is actually Di's butler's spawn and that they have the DNA evidence. Hopefully it will finish them all and end this feudal pantomime.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that would only result in even MORE coverage and certainly wouldn't be the end of the Royals.

When I heard he had included details about his virginity etc I thought it was a good move - it means that he owns the story and it can't be discovered and distorted by the tabloids. They really have nothing to discover about Harry now - they can only attack him and that makes them seem very petty.

Regarding his family - he can't reconcile now so by releasing the book he's not made anything worse with them.
agree on both points.

Seems clear they tried to blackmail him on the drugs thing. So this book allows him to take that power away from the gutter press.

I can't see a serious reconciliation either. A tolerance at a distance and christmas cards. Will probably be it. I doubt we will see him come for the coronation, next visit will be when Charlie pops it.

I'm surprised we haven't yet heard from the mature lady that popped his cherry. I expect a scoop in one of the tabloids is imminent. Then we will get to hear the real important stuff.

key points fo rme were:

1 - Clearly had PTSD from his mothers death and didn't really get the help he needed, bceause you know , stiff upper lip and all that.

2 - cocaine - he wanted to discuss how he was the victim of blackmail, which is a key point, and terrible from teh gutter press....but for me what it highlighted is that the privilege enjoyed by the royals comes with an unwritten agreement that they are the nations standard bearer for morality, they claim to be ceremonial, and that needs a whiter than white image. But as we have seen with Andrew, that's nonsense. It shows that DNA isn't a good way of selecting leadership, morality, and to be a figurehead. Shame the interviewer didn't pick up on that side of things.

3 - The whole "William was angry I was stepping on his turf with African charities". That highlighted how royals use "patronage" to charities for self promotion. If they actually cared abotu the charitable cause then surely they would welcome further help and exposure.

4 - Harry had to ask permission from the Queen to have a beard to get married. William said he couldn't have a beard.........utterly ludicrous to ask permission on your appearance on YOUR big day. The William argument against the beard sounded like it was about "control" over Harry

5 - Interhouse rivalries, the idea that the house of Charles and Camilla would put bad press out against his sons, or that the press office of William would do so against his brother is utterly appalling, but it's what happens. Shows how Machiavellian the whole system is.

6 - "I swear on mummies life" -- that's their relationship over right there. Again sounded like William wanting control over his younger brother, and using his dead mother as leverage in it. Appalling behaviour from William if true

7 - Silence allows abusers to abuse. Thats the key to why this interview, book, series happened. He felt abused, wanted to ensure the royals knew he would stand up for him and his wife and not let this abuse continue

8 - Court cases, 9 of them against the press. Shows how uncontrollable the press are int his country.

Thought William and Camilla were the big losers.

I don't know how anyone can watch the interview and the netflix documentary and not feel at least some sympathy for Harry. I did think it was a mistake to mention military issues in his book and to mention the William fight. Thought the latter should've stayed in house.

Haven’t followed any of the ginger whinger’s rantings, although it’s hard to avoid. But did see in The Times today he’s wittering on about his beard being a mask for his anxiety and other beardies will understand that. As a non anxious beardy type I’d rather he didn’t speak on my behalf. Also while your on, your erstwhile highness, füčk off I’m sick of hearing about you.

Can't stand the sight of em especially Harry how come the big tough soldier that he is fled the base when they locked down for a drug test . Fled like a rat with a lame excuse of " urgent business in London " Yea sure thing what ever you say Ginger whinger .

whole things been flooding social media and MSN to take away focus from the serious stuff that they don't want people taking about .

With the PTSD from his mothers death it's quite staggering he was accepted for a role in the military I am sure members of the public wouldn't be accepted with such obvious mental health issues.

It will be interesting to see where he goes from here at the moment his raison d'etre seems to be getting back at his family particularly his brother and the press. I think that will just continue for years to come with the public getting fatigue from it all and even possibly Meghan.

I am not sure he knows what to do with life other than pursue a feud, now he's not on royal duties He's clearly not the brightest tool in the box despite a private education I also think he's still very damaged despite all the therapy. He needs to move on from the bitterness otherwise it will ruin his life.

Think he's done a good enough job on himself when it comes to ruining his life give it 24 months Markle will black bag him then take him to the cleaners a blind man and his dog can see it .

He is toast

One question why has he completely back tracked on the accusation of racism which was so dramatically prominent on the Oprah interview.

Might it to be doing with who he accused, for example they may no longer be with us, or he’s been proven wrong privately?

The guy has a right to tell his own side of the stories.

Why is it right for other people to make money off the back of him without question.

Blame the press here, if they had morals, maybe we wouldn`t have a man fighting back against those who have not only wronged him and his wife but also had a part to play in his mothers death.

I understood the beard thing. My wife has never seen me without a beard so it would have been crazy on our wedding day for me to have to shave it off cos my granny commanded it :ROFLMAO:

In answer he said that it was the press who labelled it racism - Meghan or him never said 'they are racists'. He puts it down to unconscious bias, something he has spoken about on the Netflix documentary.

He blames the press for a lot but in all fairness I think I can understand why.

Pretty clear what his beef is. He hates the press for killing his mother and giving his wife a hard time for not being the “English Rose” they feel a prince owes them. He is suing three major publications because he feels it is the right thing to do. Can’t see why anyone would take issue with this unless you actually work for the tabloids (Piers Morgan etc).

He is disappointed with his family for rejecting his quest for a peaceful life in Canada, and for then getting into bed with the press (who killed his mother), to protect their own images and damage his. Again, can’t see why anyone would take issue with this unless you are a starry-eyed Royalist.

He now wants his story heard and is using slightly more reputable media outlets to do it (hard to see how else he could do it, a book, podcast and a Netflix series, not the tabloids) and the haters have decided that that means his claims about not wanting his family harassed (literally to death like his mother) are unfounded because he is courting publicity.

I suppose he should stay quiet and let people believe all the lies about him and his family, which his wider family spoonfed to the press? I’m sure everyone else would be quite happy with that outcome in his shoes.

It's not unconscious bias it's was racism to say otherwise now is frankly ridiculous
