William assaulted Harry...

Brothers fight. I imagine I've 'assaulted' or been 'assaulted' plenty of times with my brother over nearly 40 years. Although most of it years ago.

Although not sure I've ever snapped his necklace 😂

They don't half go on for a couple who just wants privacy and to be left alone. Netflix / interviews and now a book. It sounds like the complete opposite.
 
The truth is they only doing this to generate revenue. Harry and Megan stated they wanted to leave royalty have a private life. Yet at every opportunity use their former royal status to generate wealth most of the stories are made up or exaggerated. Surprised people still listen to them to be honest

I do apologise...I assumed you had just read the headline. I had no idea poor Harry was referred to as the spare until I read this. The monarchy can be cruel at times.

It's more about putting their story out & so taking the opportunity away from the media - who have been using royals to cash in for decades..

Yes it could all be done for free, though he has been brought up to believe he's entitled to living for free on tax payers £

..so now he's getting others to pay for his life.. his 'story' is his business opportunity..

The problem is that the silence plays into their hands (Harry and Megan). They’ll keep chiping away with these revelations for as long as they can. I think the Royal Family need to start defending themselves more. I know that silence is the honourable thing but this is a very dirty game being played.

I don't think it does. I think initially a lot of Republicans supported Harry and Meghan when they first decided to break away from the family but even they are growing tired of the 'woe me' act. Many can see through Harry and the hypocrisy of him claiming he wanted privacy but then choosing to court attention from the media at every opportunity.

William is following the Queen's example by not speaking to the media and understands what the role of being a member of the Royal family entails.

Putting his story out. What a load of rubbish. It’s all purely about the financials for them.

Apologies if you already know this but.....

He called his book 'Spare', which is what the headline is referring to.
The monarchy has always liked having 'an heir and a spare', i.e. One child is not enough, just in case.

Normally the spare isn't needed but occasionally is, the last time being George when Edward abdicated.
