If just one player Isn’t t buying into a new manager the effects can be devastating on the rest of the squad so if there’s a couple that aren’t committed that would be huge.
Chris needs to do what he thinks is right and as he says if that means touching the bigger names or moving fans favourites then so be it.

It’s weird but I’ve felt surprisingly chipper since our game ended. Thought I’d be really gutted but I’m not. I’m very optimistic about next season.

We were never good enough for the play offs anyway. I thinkdeep down we all knew that.
It sounds like he’s been watching and planning this season and now he no longer has to pander to the players this is when his managerial skills will kick on his team his way.

TBF - we can only get rid - sell, players under contract - if teams will buy them & the player will move.. else as we saw with Britt, Gestede & others... we can be lumped with them for seasons...

Have to agree with CW. The squad needs a major overhaul and let’s face it there’s plenty of players out of contract in the championship so perhaps it’ll be first come first served.
Preston for instance have 14 players out of contract — I’d take one or two of them.
For me I’d only keep McGree, Tav, Djksteel Fry and Jones the rest can be binned. Josh can be loaned out as he’s not ready.
