Wilder. I’m very sceptical.

He`s no novice and he knows what hes doing.
He doesnt have to shout about his achievements - unlike some other Managers - results speak for themselves.

Lets not forget a few facts, including the 9 match unbeaten home run:

Christopher Wilder`s away results:

Huddersfield W 2-1
Stoke D 0-0
Blackpool W 2-1
Mansfield W 3-2
Blackburn L 1-0
Manchester Utd W - penalties
QPR D 2-2
Bristol City L 2-1
Barnsley L 4-1
Sheffield Utd L 4-1
Millwall D 0-0
Birmingham City W 2-0
Peterborough Utd W 4-0
Bournemouth D 0-0
Swansea D 0-0
Preston L 4-1

League: W5 D5 L4
Cup: W2

Under the previous Manager - Wilder inherited a club which had amassed 22 points - out of a possible 51 - from 17 league games [1.29 ppg]
Just 3 points above 19th placed Bristol City.

Chris Wilder`s team scored 40 goals in 29 league games.

In spite of three big defeats [Barnsley / Sheffield Utd / Preston] Chris Wilder`s Boro achieved 48 points from 29 games. [1.66 ppg]

* Its worth noting that Sheffield United were beaten 4-1 away to Coventry - just 4 days after they beat us 4-1 at Bramall Lane. They only won 2 out of their next 7.
Amongst the defeats were a home loss to Reading and away at Stoke. Last season, they also lost away 3-1 at Blackburn and 2-0 at Derby. Its not about Managers being tactically inept - its called football, not a game on a computer toy.
Football is a funny old game.

* On points per game [1.66] - under Chris Wilder - Boro would have finished the season on 76 points - 5th, ahead of Sheffield United and Luton.
* On the trajectory of the previous regime [1.29] - Boro would have finished on 60 points in 16th place alongside Blackpool.

Apologies for any mathematical errors in advance.;)

I also forgot according to Diego he was the best championship manager last season even better than steve cooper, despite us finishing like train(in reverse) siding into 7th position

Remind me where I said that. I said he’s the best manager in the championship this season.

The truth is that all 6 clubs that finished above Boro in the league did better than Middlesbrough following the appointment of Wilder.
Sheff U started below and finished above.
Forest were level and finished well clear.
Huddersfield and Luton were both above, but pulled further clear.
Fulham were well clear and pulled further away.
Even Bournemouth who are perceived to have blown up a little, outperformed us on GD in the time after Wilder's appointment.

I struggle why I have to believe that Wilder is the Messiah.
I certainly didn't think so as I walked away from Deepdale, or quite a few other matches.

I love the way he talks in interviews.
I really want him to take us up like did at Sheff U.
I'm not at all saying I don't want him or rate him, but get some perspective.
6 clubs out performed us during his time here last season.

Perspective - we didn’t have one of the top 6 squads in the division

Also the truth is that in his time here we were a top 6 team. If you don’t see it with wilder then fair enough but his record as a manager is fantastic and the stats speak for them selves. He has a lovely style to watch, I don’t think he’s entirely likeable as a bloke but I don’t care about that, he seems a fantastic manager.

I said Wilder is the best manager in the championship which you questioned, I will ask again, who is better?

He arrived here after 17 games had been played, inheriting a make-shift , highly inconsistent, bedraggled group of players.
He worked wonders considering.

It's really simple, during his time here 6 teams outperformed us.
He got us in the top 5 by New Year, signed players then dropped away rather badly.

You are making the big statement that he definitely IS the best manager in the Championship. I'm really not sure why you are so adamant?
He may prove himself but he really didn't last season.
Steve Bruce could lay claim. Robins, Pearson, Heckingbottom, Jones.
People could make a case for a number.
Wilder has had a good career, no doubt, but he is not definitely the best.
Except in your opinion, which is fine.

I repeat again, I am happy enough that he is our manager and I do actually like the way he comes across.
