Wilder delusional

Wilder was absolutely spot on. We went to arguably the best side in the division and we were the better team. Sure, we’ve messed it up again and we have to start getting over the line more consistently but on the reflection of every game if we had win them all nobody could argue.

Fine margins at the minute but surely it can’t be all doom and gloom!

Might seem like fine margins but Wilder isn’t a lucky manager at all and we almost always come out on the wrong side of a tight game
That suggests the team spirit isn’t what it should be
It’s never been the same since the Burnley head turning incident and maybe deep down the players don’t trust him
I don’t

We`ve strengthened, we`ve progressed, we just haven`t got the results to show

The results will come, I`m sure of that
I don’t understand how we’ve progressed?

At this point last season we had more wins, more points, conceded less goals and were higher in the table?

Strikes me some people have a deliberate hate agenda.
They have little knowledge beyond the playground mentality and add nothing to informed debate about our football team, or anything else.
Even the stats show that we didn't dominate in the second half. We had the better chances but didn't dominate.

I thought we where slightly the better team. Muniz should never have shot at the end. I could see the goal coming typical Boro as they say.

Who cares if we dominated.

We are easy to score against and struggle to score. Fundamentally a really bad combination.

Ah yes the season ends now.

To progress you sometimes have to go through a little pain before you see the end result

We've won 5 games in the last 19.

That's more than a little pain. That's a real concerning run of form that we're not improving on, not learning lessons from.

Wilder needs to sort out these deficiencies ASAP or the top will be out of sight and we'll be relying on some sort of miracle run of 20 wins from 25 games. The top 4 are congregating, as we knew they would.

Wasn’t that our 16 goal of the season

Some people on here just post complete lies don’t they.

We do not struggle to score in fact reading is our only blank of the entire season.

We don't convert our xG. We are bad at it. We concede more than we score.

It's a bad combination.

I believe we`ve progressed as a team as a whole

We are a better team than last season and the results will come, we aren`t a million miles away from that

When we win on Monday we`ll be in exactly the same position as this time last season (not position in the league, but points wise)

All just opinion though and people are either right or wrong, so I could just as easily be proved wrong at the moment as proved right

We may have had lots of the ball though both keepers were under tested.. we, playing one striker, were again short of options in the attacking area - McGree - is not a #10... Crooks would have been a better option than him - though playing an extra striker would have been the best option - IMHO.

Watford got lucky with our lax marking & defensive play - 2 lapses: 2 goals..

If Clarke had scored with the headers at 1v1 we may have won - a fairly even game.

I am no wilder fan but i have to say he has been unluckly in the fact the fixture list has put some very tough rounds of fixtures early on, whilst hes assembling his new side. Its been a tough start we need to improve and i think we will if we address the fundamental issue with the side. The fundamental problem for me is lack of mobility in midfield which has been amplified massively since we lost Tav get that sorted and i think we will be fine.

Sorry I thought sky said 16 last night I’ll admit I didn’t check

Ok I stand corrected but the point remains we are scoring regularly though that isn’t the issue.

Considering who we were up against, away, and having lost Lenihan and Howson, and not having Steffen and Chuba available I think last night went exceptionally well (other than the result).

Not quite sure what else people expect in those circumstances, especially if they think we're so poor?

We dominated the start, up until about 15-20 mins, then they dominated us when they kept finding Pedro and Sarr, who clearly should not be in this league, not sure what we're meant to do about that. We seemingly can't/ won't pay £10m for a striker and they've got two £30m ones, for now at least.

We kept Pedro and Sarr very quiet second half, and definitely had the better of them, which probably made up for them having the better of us for 2/3 of the first half.

Overall I would have expected a draw, maybe 2-2 from what I saw. They got extremely lucky with their second goal (this HAS to end soon 🙏), but we got away with the Fry pull, but we should have been leading long before this anyway.
