It depends on the food/dish you’re making. One of my fav dishes is a Thai curry which are renowned for their abundance of flavours.Genuinely done know how the likes of Jamie Oliver have got away with it for so long… every time I see a show of his the amount of different herbs, garlic or spice he uses must make the food taste nothing like what it’s supposed to

Yeah i agree something like that is what it should be. But im talking about stuff like roast potato's with half a dozen other flavours added that are so over powering you are not going to taste any potatoIt depends on the food/dish you’re making.
