What vinyl have you bought recently / dusting off for a play?

I sold mine about 15 years ago to 991.com , their man Steven Borkowski gave a provisional price from my list then came up from Brighton to have a gander and took them. He travels all over the UK buying and gave me 3 x more than local shops offered. I must admit I didn't know there were so many nuances involved like if it was a first pressing, colour of label, misprints on label etc. and so probably got done a bit (and he only physically looked at about 10 so he might have been done a bit too) but I was happy with the price. The only albums I couldn't part with were by Love and I kept a few Stone Roses singles that may be investments plus the only single I know the number of - The Misunderstood's I Can Take You To the Sun

My biggest regret was including The Bumbites' Bottoms Up! Rarer than hen's teeth and not on CD

Was making a playlist of 2024 albums Ive enjoyed but not yet bought yesterday. So far it contains Sprints and Marika Hackman 😂😂

It's all about opinions but I'm disappointed in Sprints album...the singles before it were superb. In fact I'd go as far as saying that their back catalogue album is better than their debut 😂 but that's just me

I'll be honest the album was the first thing I head of them. I initially thought it might veer too far into the "noise" territory (not necessarily a bad thing) but some of the melodies are decent too. I'd be interested in seeing them live.
 
Zapp II arrived today courtesy of Ebay, so its been getting a good old listen through. Can't wait till the Tannoy XT6F's turn up so I can enjoy it more.

Had 8 jazz albums come yesterday as well as a pristine copies of Bonnie Tyler - faster than the speed of night & Billy Idol - Rebel Yell

Just been telling my mate about this, it sold out almost immediately. £85 and it has actual flies pressed into it... I'll pass

I ordered this off Amazon for a tenner, it had a pic of the yellow splatter but the description said ignore the photo as it's a stock image and to expect black

Tracking shows it came from France via Belgium and when it's arrived it's the splatter variant but also numbered out of 500. Strange thing to get off a strange listing 😂 good bit of jazz too.
