Wasn’t it the Haverton Hill that had the Friday kippers on??Not sure if it’s still there, pub in port Clarence, possibly called the top house, used to have a stripper on bout midday on a Friday, everyone used to chip 50p in a pint glass.
Her knickers were a bit smelly
The Aggie must have changed then... it was a **** hole at the back of the town centre and the owner had the same amount of hair as teeth... he was baldSurprised the Aggie is mentioned. It has the best jukebox in town and full are very decent people.
As for rough. The after hours Billingham Arms could be rough as f*CK. It was marketed as the Arms Dance but known locally as the Arms Fight.
No idea, Probably, I was only 16/17/18 and at Stockton 6th Form when I went. Never got to many Friday afternoon lessonsWasn’t it the Haverton Hill that had the Friday kippers on??
The Top house was Puerto Clarenso opposite side of the junction to the butchers, according to a friend like kippers were on on a Friday lunchtime.Wasn’t it the Haverton Hill that had the Friday kippers on??

Fforde Grene used to be my local in the 80s. Bit rough but I’ve walked out of worseoldham
The Shoes was a decent boozer, you obviously just looked like a student.Three horseshoes in Gilesgate, Durham, everyone stared at me and my mate who went in looking for a local after we moved in to a student house nearby, one quick pint and ****ed off, if we hadn’t both been semi local from Teesside I’m sure we’d have been strung up for being students, very them and us in that city at the time
Dirty Dirty Boy.,..No idea, Probably, I was only 16/17/18 and at Stockton 6th Form when I went. Never got to many Friday afternoon lessons

Top of Portrack Lane ? Went in every Friday lunchtime to play Pool... don't think I would have gone in on a nightIf anyone has been in any worse pub than the cricketer's then I solute you..... Went in there just before it closed in 2006/7.... Swiftly closed soon after
Went in there with the late great John Jennings of Norton one Saturday lunchtime, a guy (charachter) came and stood next to us with a shaved head and ‘cut here ———‘ tattooed on his neck. JJ looked at him and growled “I’d f***in love to” I think I nearly lost bowel control at that point.Top of Portrack Lane ?
