What is the roughest pub you have ever been to?

Surprised the Aggie is mentioned. It has the best jukebox in town and full are very decent people.

As for rough. The after hours Billingham Arms could be rough as f*CK. It was marketed as the Arms Dance but known locally as the Arms Fight.

A bar in Glasgow in the barrow lands - concrete floor. Only have a dozen lads in there all singing freedom songs - came up to me and asked me to pick some songs on the Juke box - I think it was some sort of test. Luckily I was with a local lad who managed to get me out of there discretely at an opportune moment. Never again!

I went to meet a mate who had just moved to Nottingham. About 5 of us piled in my car and were taking over his house for the weekend.

started off in the local which was fine. We decided to hit the city clubs and got a taxi... it was a Friday night.

walked into the first bar we saw and immediately stopped by the bouncer. I got my ID out (I was 20) but got told that wasn’t the issue... we were all overdressed and told to **** off.

I was wearing a shirt and smart jeans 😀

The Aggie must have changed then... it was a **** hole at the back of the town centre and the owner had the same amount of hair as teeth... he was bald

I used to go there aswell, Fight club or devils dance I think we used to call it.

Three horseshoes in Gilesgate, Durham, everyone stared at me and my mate who went in looking for a local after we moved in to a student house nearby, one quick pint and ****ed off, if we hadn’t both been semi local from Teesside I’m sure we’d have been strung up for being students, very them and us in that city at the time
The Shoes was a decent boozer, you obviously just looked like a student.

Big Jug in Durham, spotted a used tampon under a table 🤮 used to get quite fighty of a Friday night. It was often referred to as the ‘blood tub’

If anyone has been in any worse pub than the cricketer's then I solute you..... Went in there just before it closed in 2006/7.... Swiftly closed soon after

Couple in Aberdeen were not the best. The Snuggery on Market Street and one in Torry. The Victoria.

The Grill looked a bit dodgy but was full of character and a proper boozer.

Top of Portrack Lane ? Went in every Friday lunchtime to play Pool... don't think I would have gone in on a night 👿
Went in there with the late great John Jennings of Norton one Saturday lunchtime, a guy (charachter) came and stood next to us with a shaved head and ‘cut here ———‘ tattooed on his neck. JJ looked at him and growled “I’d f***in love to” I think I nearly lost bowel control at that point.
