What has Farage got on this government

"despite all the odds" is doing some very heavy lifting there.

Like the IEA and The Tax Payers Alliance, Farage has been given unprecedented exposure on the BBC over the years.
Oh come on, he’s been on his crusade for years and no one gave him a chance - even right up to polling..

He's an odious, vindictive man who has conspired to cause more harm to this country than should be possible. He should have died in that plane crash when he was UKIP leader......

Farage is one hell of a polarising character but a focus for many a people’s admiration for reasons I will never fathom.

I'll never fathom them either, but there is a certain type of person (a lot of them in fact) who idolise strength and power, even if it's to their disadvantage.

These are the type of people who support bullies, tyrants and dictators eg Trump, Putin etc

They think that being on the side of the powerful is better than being on the side of the weak, regardless of the consequences.

I don't buy the guff about being entitled to bank with Coutts, they are a private company and should be able to deal with however they like, within legal constraints
The legal constraint being discriminating against someone for their political views.

Farage owns a share in The Reform Party, which is not really a political party but more of a limited company, which doesn’t allow members any say in policy or much else at all.
Assuming that his mate Dickie Lice and the really irritating blonde woman are amongst the others.
Anyway is being reported it’s £800.000 in debt. Let’s hope the news is true.

He could take that on as a personal debt with Coutts and problem solved. He could then get back to beachcombing refugees.

I despise farage and think the man would love to lick putins ball sack if he could (to be fair , Putin would probably be game for it) but this does sound like the bank have ****ed up if they’ve just decided to close his account because they don’t like his views . It sounds dodgy as ****

Boss of NatWest has also resigned. Too right.

Starmer came out and agreed the chair of the bank, given the circumstances, had to resign.
Farage just tweeted “Thank you, Sir Keir”

Expect Farage to slap in a law suit to Nat West for defamation of character through wrongful disclosure very soon.

He was on the crusade for years with little to no effect.

That only changed when he managed to become associated with the people behind the takeover of BBC political output.

Since circa 2013, Farage et al began to appear with undeserved regularity on the various political shows.

The ideas they were (and still are) putting forwards were never seriously challenged.

Pundits might not have given him a chance right up to polling but even people on this forum were aghast at how little was being done to prevent Brexit. It wasn't as big a shock as it's been made out since (by Farage et al, again in a bid at myth-making).

Brexit wouldn't have happened if the BBC political programmes hadn't pushed Farage front and centre, despite there being no general clamour for any EU change from the general public.

It’s in the air. The grift begins🤣

Didn’t take long.

Something along the lines of. “ I am outraged that what happened to me is happening to others. I can’t standby and watch this take place. I will fight against it”
…” and so it goes”

Farage is just being geared up again to run in the next election, he'll stand where the Tories have no chance against Labour.
Farage and his ilk will go into overdrive with division and racism fueled by the crooks who own this country.
His party will pop up and vanish into thin air once its purpose is served.

Some folk just made a sh** load of money by shorting the NW share price. I wonder if Fartage knows them? Ever received any donations from them? Sunak and Hunt intervened to devalue a business that is part owned by the UK tax payer. Treacherous and odious behaviour on their part - they should stick to counting hospitals. They should also be sending Fartage an invoice for the damage he has caused to the UK economy.
