What a joke Eddie Hearn is

I’m not talking about fighting in foreign countries as although I’m against it that just modern world and it’s not unexpected but Saudi is just an insult.

it’s morally bankrupt I hope Tyson refuses.
Multiple site offers were put to Tyson and AJ weeks ago, they both agreed on Saudi!

I’m not sure where the outrage is coming from. Anybody who boxing knew months ago that this would be the case.

the Saudis are probably one of the few nations who can afford to bankroll it without the revenue a crowd would bring.

As long as the second fight is in the uk with a capacity crowd then it’s all good.

re the op without Eddie Hearn this fight literally wouldn’t be going ahead , he has worked for months across all parties, broadcasters and promotional , management teams. He’s made the fight that nobody else could of.
I think anyone is entitled to be disappointed even if they did have an inkling months ago where the fight would take place. 'Knowing' and 'disappointment' are not mutually exclusive.

Neither Joshua or Fury are exactly paragons of virtue, I'm not surprised they're more interested in the money than integrity.

That’s just an excuse as AJ fought in Saudi long before the pandemic so this has nothing to do with the virus.

it’s greed and blood money
Eh??? That doesn’t really make sense - I’m telling you why it’s not in England - I.e. there is not enough fans to make enough revenue to pay the fighters. The only people who can afford to put it on during Covid are the Saudis.

if it’s greed and money then that is mainly down to the fighters and not Eddie Hearn as your post suggests.

I would be more disappointed knowing there would not be a fight at all if the Saudis didn’t bankroll it.

As always these things come down to money. The fight has gone to the highest bidder!

I'll definitely be watching it in a pub, would not dare pay that much for a max of 50 minutes of boxing.
Likely far less.

I've got zero interest in undercard fights.

Not that often I agree with FatCat but I agree itll be £29.99 at most, possibly £24.99.
Ruiz Jr vs Joshua 2 was £24.95 so I think it will be more than that. You and FatCat may be right but I can't help thinking this is going to be a premium PPV price.

The problem is there is a tipping point and anything north of £30 will have people saying they'll go to pub instead, or much more likely to get loads of mates together at one house so the number of PPV sales fall. I'd be amazed if it cost more than £29.99.
