It used to be a good pub Doc Brown's, but the last few years or ever since the 'no female singers' thing it seems to have been up and down - mostly down.
Is that the old Regency Rooms? Nice venue.Sticky Fingers was a weird one… they spent a load of money kitting out the upstairs space after lockdown, then when they’d finished it just shut up shop and moved full time to their Stockton one
And as for "the wallop" on fb, well done that man. People are talking about what can be done. Not sure what he was supposed to do given that his future promotions were affected. He had a duty to his customers to let them know ASAP. It's not his problem that no "official" statement had been made.
The issue may have been partly that the announcement was made on the promoter's own Westgarth facebook page. It looked like a statement issued from the club but wasn't.Exactly this, I know who the promoter is and he’s got his issues with TKASG so maybe that might explain Blagga’s still-game inspired outburst. But as far as I can see, he’s just relayed news concerning his gig.
I had tickets to see Babyshambles play there but they cancelled right at the last minute. It was a shame, as it would have been a pretty decent scalp for the venue at the time.TFM sound works? It had capacity of 3000, think the few gigs it had was a logistical nightmare
