We the undersigned (re punishment of flare lad)

That says it all really.

Middlesbrough Supporters Forum. They’re lucky enough to have contact with Gibson but don’t really do anything with it.
I don't think any contact with Steve Gibson would have any bearing on this case, a legal case. As a forum we haven't been involved at all - how could we? It went to court.

Sometime prior to this case RF were invited to a national supporter led discussion/demonstration on pyrotechnics at football grounds along with Middlesbrough Supporters Forum - at which the very real dangers to health and safety to crowd and safety officials in terms of the heat, flames (have own oxygen supply so cannot be extinguished), the toxic fumes were all demonstrated by controlled tests and on film.

We all attended this online. It lasted a couple of hours, with supporters from all over the country also on the zoom call. It was arranged through Football Supporters Association not the football clubs or authorities though the EFL and Premier League were involved from a safety perspective. The dangers and possible consequences were pointed out with examples of incidents and some awful injuries to fans and safety stewards and police.

I wouldn't want to say anymore about what happened in the case or whether it was linked to RF no turn out on Saturday because I don't know anything about it.

I never said it would, that you did, or that it should have!

I thought that was the case. Shame.

Waste of taxpayers money, potentially lost a good fan and a community leader.

No real positive impact as a result of the fine and ban either.

Plenty of folks who don’t go to matches will be over the moon. Not to mention all the non football types.. and the sit down with finger on lips brigade.
Community leaders don't f@ck about with flares at football matches.

Collectively, rf08 didn't light the flare.
The gadgie who was charged and found guilty did.
At the moment, there appears to be lots of unproven assumptions that all rf08 are guilty by association.
Facts are really critical in making an objective judgement.
rf08 are big enough and responsible enough to make their own decisions.
Let's wait to see what they have to say.(y)
Dont think they have to say anything really, the lad was an RF08 member, no self respecting 'ultra' group would draft in a random to let off a flare during the ultras groups 15 year celebration.

They must have some brilliant evidence though to circumvent RF's tactics. Ive seen fans brazenly let off smoke bombs and flares in grounds at Boro games and never seen such coverage of them being brought to 'justice' like this. As previous posts have suggested about the length of ban I believe its becoming common for 5 years to be minimum for football related offences? I dont agree with it, but theyre trying to stamp it out so making an example of people.

Do you know how patronising you are being to disabled children suggesting their disability to be used to determine the outcome of a person's reckless and illegal behaviour. Do you not think for one minute people with disabilities would actually prefer to access an enabling environment without patronising goodwill.
Go on then, destructively pessimistic,
Pick holes in my example of RJ given earlier

We don't know whether the individual had anything to do with rf08.
As for "they" [?] and circumventing "RF`s "tactics", you are inferring rf08 are actively promoting criminal acts.
That's a serious allegation, and not one to make without concrete evidence.

You are the biggest tw@t on this board by a country mile.
You keep trying to catch my attention with insult after insult.. not sure what you want me to say lol

Do you want me to send you a pair of dirty underpants for you to fap over?

I don’t need you to say anything, it was a statement not a question.

Nah, I’m good thanks. You probably wear your grandparents underwear anyway, and have already done the fapping part.

At least my zaniness is limited to the username and not this character I portray, but when someone questions your opinion you become defensive and aggressive, with the zaniness gone - leaving a spoilt little rat sat in his grandma’s under crackers.
