Well first of all congratulations to you both. Lovely news.

In answer to the question (and bearing in mind being asked to come up with rules on the hoof on a football messageboard isn't how I would legislate on this issue) no. Genuine medical exemptions (edit: I am not sure if pregnancy is reason not to be vaccinated) clearly are a special case. If you are medically able and offered the vaccine but reject it then that is absolutely your personal choice to be able to do so. The consequences of that choice though, to protect the remainder of society, ought to be that your freedoms are restricted.

Carrie came out the other day and said she'd just had her second jab (whilst pregnant), my wife said if she knew she was pregnant she wouldn't have taken her second jab without a lot of thought and consideration. I can fully understand why pregnant women won't have the jab. To then deny them the right to go food shopping would be wrong.

Also proof that those in power are liars as they told us all the G7 party attendees were double vaccinated. Lies on top of lies.


As for the footballers, just add vaccine take up to the list of things those with enough money/influence/power etc that they believe they are exempted from. I wouldn't lose too much sleep about it, especially now the majority of us all in this country are vaccinated twice.

Quite right, made me laugh that did. But it does make you wonder where their heads are, and why they think like they do. What the heck is the club doc doing about this.
It will make an embarrassing scene at Christmas when there heading into the hospital wards and the sister steps up and says you can't come in.... The thing is to effect change in attitudes now, I think there has to be consequences.

It wouldn’t be wrong at all. There is absolutely no reason not to have the jab and if you make that choice then you accept the consequences. There are other options in terms of shopping such as online or getting a vaccinated friend to do it.

I assume that you understand the difference between this vaccine and ALL PREVIOUS VACCINES!!! Probably not!!!

I didn’t avoid the question at all. I pointed out that asking about the long term effects of a vaccine betrays a fundamental lack of understanding as to how vaccines work.

If you’re going to start banging on about mRNA then seriously you’re getting blocked as a buffoon.

We live in uncertain times unfortunately and never has it been so important to have a right to choose 👍.
And not be ostracised for that decision 👍

So don't read or contribute to there thread. Relatively simple I would have thought. The players absolutely have a right not to take the vaccine. I have a right to think they're idiots for not taking it (because they are).

I've only pulled you up on three things, which are your statements on long term effects, healthy eating and your lack of understanding between traditional vaccines and this mRNA vaccine. The rest of the above is pure Walter Mitty!
