We have flashing boards reminding us that anti social behaviour and language will not be tolerated by MFC. And yet once more a stadium full of fans has to endure chants of ‘Paedo’
Children and families are subjected to hearing these taunts which last night were as loud and vile as ever.
My question is. Is this now to be accepted as ‘banter’ which minimises the real intention of the chants?
Is this abhorrent behaviour not deemed to break the rules we are all subjected to and see spread across electronic notice boards?
Is any consideration or empathy given to victims of child abuse who attend matches against Sunderland? Traumatised victims who do not need to be reminded about past ordeals they may have endured?
When is enough enough?
