So I've been informed by a reliable source in the aviation industry. Which is a pain as I'm supposed to be going on holiday with them next Wednesday.
The largest shareholder is a Russian oligarch who transferred ownership to his wife prior to his sanctions Linkthey are German owned I believe
The German government gave them a massive bail-out last year. They're backed by the German government, aren't they?
This. If indeed there was the merest hint that they were in trouble there would be a market crash in their shares - which I cant see - and therefore I wouldn't start worrying too much if you are booked with them.If it was an anywhere near reliable source then there would already be a sell-off on their shares. Huge value for short-sellers with that sort of insider information being public.
Everything's sliding, inflation/ recession/ bear market, could be a while before it picks back up.This. All airline shares are sliding. Lufthansa down 20% in the last 4 weeks. BA down 15%.

Never used them and never had a need to. Flights and AirBnB mean I don't need to stay with the riff raff![]()

Depends whether you want to be protected by ATOL, and also have a larger company to complain too, if anything went wrong. I do loads of trips as flights and separate booking, but major holidays always go with a big agent.Never used them and never had a need to.
