I cannot understand how anyone thinks he is head and shoulders over Brynn based on their time this season (he's played a couple of games more than Brynn)Travers is an excellent keeper, head and shoulders above recent keepers.
If Bournemouth are open to selling him then let's go for it.
We have been let down by inferior keepers for many seasons, it's like a revolving door, he's a great age as well.
Let's go get him....
We've had this discussion before. The 6'0" figure is clearly from old data that hasn't been updated. There are pictures showing him standing next to other players who are 6' or more and he is several inches taller than they are.Slightly different take, but according to Wikipedia Brynn is 6'0 and Travers 6'3". Not sure I believe that - Brynn looks a couple of inches taller at least!
According to wiki, Sol is 6'0", Seny is 6'4" and Rav is 6'3".We've had this discussion before. The 6'0" figure is clearly from old data that hasn't been updated. There are pictures showing him standing next to other players who are 6' or more and he is several inches taller than they are.
Adam Thompson, who is third from the left in this photo, is 6'1", for example.

Yeah, exactly. The photographic evidence would suggest he's more like 6'4" or even 5.According to wiki, Sol is 6'0", Seny is 6'4" and Rav is 6'3".
Moral of the story: don't believe everything you read on wiki.

Great reply, as silly as saying he was absolutely superb for us, he's played 6 games this season, conceded 3 Vs Sheff Wed, 3 Vs Plymouth, 5 Vs Stoke....ah yes, that's right.. one play in one game with a less than favourable result. totally shyte, non league pub player, sack the manager, full clear out.. start from scratch.. no way we could compete in the champions league with any of those players ever to what on earth was steve gibson thinking from his secret batcave... everybody out!!
I was also there, and i disagree.I was there and he wasn't at fault for any of them.
I haven’t said anything silly what so ever.. ever.Great reply, as silly as saying he was absolutely superb for us, he's played 6 games this season, conceded 3 Vs Sheff Wed, 3 Vs Plymouth, 5 Vs Stoke....
But don't let your home grown blinkers get in the way of saying he's been 'genuinely class'.
A decent enough keeper maybe, but still has a look to prove at this level.
Travers is levels above atm.
I think he wasn't in the mood for excitable crowds and players to hoy it or boot it to the runner, yeah he's not the best at punting a ball where he needs it. He`s not bad and would have liked to have kept him but I prefer Brynn.A couple of good saves tonight but his distribution is little to get excited about his short to medium stuff is ok but anything longer is a lottery where it will land.
Makes me appreciate what a gem we have in Sol Brynn
Its a low bar to get over , Lumley, Bettinli, glover, the lad from Northampton now at Millwall, to name a fewPretty sure at one point everyone was giving him the "best since randolph" tag.
