Travers

Slightly different take, but according to Wikipedia Brynn is 6'0 and Travers 6'3". Not sure I believe that - Brynn looks a couple of inches taller at least!
This is mad to me! Brynn must just make himself look bigger!

It's always difficult to work out how much difference a keeper makes.

The stats on FotMob (small samples) have Brynn playing better overall.

Main differences - Travers slightly better shot stopper and long distribution. Brynn better at claiming the ball and as a sweeper.

Is Travers in a bad position because of our form... or is he part of it because we have lost our sweeper keeper that meant we played a higher line?

He was Arsenal's number one for a while, yes he's now in a relegation scrap, but its a team game, not all on his shoulders is it?

its just a light hearted quip, its what we call him. went down with us, cheaterfield & scummers. he's a great lad and who knows, he may be back at afcb one day.

Sol Brynn was absolutely superb for us btw.. genuinely class. He’s been hyped up for years now and I saw why this season.

Fingers crossed he makes a quick recovery.

Anyone talking about 6ft tall.. just think of Shay Given or Victor Valdes.. he is up there man.

I've no problem playing a keeper who's 6ft tall, it was an observation that it's surprising because I would have said Brynn was 6'3" and Travers 6'1" ish

Top keeper at Championship level.

Brynn, Dieng, Hemming not even close.

If there is a chance to sign him on it's an absolute no brainer.

Didn't watch Middlesbrough 0 - 5 Stoke City then?

ah yes, that's right.. one play in one game with a less than favourable result. totally shyte, non league pub player, sack the manager, full clear out.. start from scratch.. no way we could compete in the champions league with any of those players ever to what on earth was steve gibson thinking from his secret batcave... everybody out!!

Not "just me" then!

I honestly think that Brynn will be a top keeper. I could be wrong (have been before, will be again) but in his tenure between the sticks he was very impressive. A very decent shot stopper in his own right and very with the ball at his feet with good distribution.

Initially Travers looked rusty to me and that has probably tilted his stats and perhaps thrown into a disrupted defence so I'm not saying that he isn't a very good keeper. Just that Brynn, prior to his injury, looked nailed on to be wearing our No 1 shirt next season. And he won't cost us a penny in transfers.

I think people forget we've also a decent no.1 who is a good shot stopper, decent with his feet and will return. For some reason people turned on him because of a few errors, mostly because of poor decisions in front of him.
He's the worst keeper in the league based on shots he should have saved by quite some distance this season.
I also think fans turned on him because he looked like he doesn't care. He doesn't want to be here and if he hadn't got injured, I doubt he would be.

Travers is an excellent keeper, head and shoulders above recent keepers.
If Bournemouth are open to selling him then let's go for it.
We have been let down by inferior keepers for many seasons, it's like a revolving door, he's a great age as well.
Let's go get him....
