Tory MP suspended

His position was untenable and the circus over the last few days is yet another example of how Johnson should not be in any position of political responsibility never mind Prime Minister, Patterson's punishment should have been resolved days ago without any of the political machinations and manoeuvrings that have created this situation, another volte face from the government and weather vane leadership demonstrates the vacuum of capability in current UK politics.

Mate,you could have said the govt's **** .

These backtracks by the Government are becoming a regular occurrence. It’s almost as if they are pushing for what they can get away with with their big majority and then row back when enough people take opposition to their actions.

For Paterson read these upturns. Pretty shambolic for a Governmrnt less than 2 years old

Gavin Williamson’s A level fiasco
James Brokenshire and the central track and trace system
Johnson and Dominic Cummings
Face Covering in shops
Shapps and School Meal Voucher Scheme
Jenrick and Turkish PPE for NHS Workers
Cancelling Christmas
Support for families of foreign NHS Support Staff
Migrant Health Surcharge
Return of Primary School Children
Hancock Resignation. “ matter closed”
Critical Worker Pindemic
NI Increases
Visas to foreign HGV drivers

Pretty shameful list of about turns.

It will trigger a by-election but it is an absolutely safe Tory seat. Shame as it would have been nice seeing him try to justify his behaviour on the door step at the next GE. I wonder who will replace him? Someone of the same ilk undoubtably.
Meet the new boss. Same as he old boss.

One can only hope this Tory scum actually tries to clear his name and ends up in the same place as those other party luminaries, Aitken and Archer.

Not that that would remove the systemic corruption that is the essence of Toryism.

Meet the new boss. Same as he old boss. Same as he old boss.

Not necessarily. The Tories lost every By-election held between 1989 and 1997 when they finally lost power, so when sleaze and corruption become an issue it has had consequences.

Might need an independent like Martin Bell to stand?

Not sure who would have the integrity - David Attenborough?

George Costanza : Why did it all turn out like this for me? I had so much promise. I was personable
I was bright. Oh, maybe not academically speaking, but... I was perceptive. I always know when someone's uncomfortable at a party. It became very clear to me sitting out there today, that every decision I've ever made, in my entire life, has been wrong. My life is the opposite of everything I want it to be. Every instinct I have, in every of life, be it something to wear, something to eat... It's all been wrong.

Waitress : Tuna on toast, coleslaw, cup of coffee.

George Costanza : Yeah. No, no, no, wait a minute, I always have tuna on toast. Nothing's ever worked out for me with tuna on toast. I want the complete opposite of on toast. Chicken salad, on rye, untoasted... and a cup of tea.

Elaine Benes : Well, there's no telling what can happen from this.

Jerry Seinfeld : You know chicken salad is not the opposite of tuna, salmon is the opposite of tuna, because salmon swim against the current, and the tuna swim with it.

George Costanza : [Sarcastically] Good for the tuna.

Elaine Benes : [a blonde looks at George] Ah, George, you know, that woman just looked at you.

George Costanza : So what? What am I supposed to do?

Elaine Benes : Go talk to her.

George Costanza : Elaine, bald men, with no jobs, and no money, who live with their parents, don't approach strange women.

Jerry Seinfeld : Well, here's your chance to try the opposite. Instead of tuna salad and being intimidated by women, chicken salad and going right up to them.

George Costanza : Yeah, I should do the opposite, I should.

Jerry Seinfeld : If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.

George Costanza : Yes, I will do the opposite. I used to sit here and do nothing, and regret it for the rest of the day, so now I will do the opposite, and I will do something!

George Costanza : [He goes over to the woman] Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice that you were looking in my direction.

Victoria : Oh, yes I was. You just ordered the same exact lunch as me.

George Costanza : [Takes a deep breath] My name is George. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents.

Victoria : I'm Victoria. Hi.

I think that's spot on. They are simply seeing what they can get away with. If the outcry is too much they'll put it on the back burner but you can guarantee they'll try again in a different guess.

mmmmm, interesting take over here. Just listening on the radio to overseas news reviewed, and one of the reviewers said, if you want to see a well functioning modern democratic nation go to failed state take a look at what has been happening in the UK. Looks like word is getting out if we have found out whats going on.

From what I’ve seen and heard on the media over here for the last 10 months we cottoned on to the sh1t show back in the UK some time ago. Johnson is viewed with incredulity.

One of the greatest episodes.

How can any MP represent the best interests of their constituents when they are acting for big business first and foremost?
Also why do do many Russian millionaires donate to the tory party?

Ask Lord Lebedev (though not the best example as he mostly uses his free paper to attack the government).
