Tomas Mejias-best job in football?

To be honest he's actually had an easy career. He's made 39 appearances since 2013 for 3 clubs. Yet still classed as a professional keeper and probably made a fortune.

You'd take that all day as a cushy number😂. He could be on 2-5k a week (knowing us 30k😂). I would rather have an academy lad as 3rd choice.

He's never going to be No1 or even No2. Just seems a waste of a wage if the back up keepers aren't at least pushing for 1st choice. He must go into work (used loosely) everyday and think 'I've got the weekend off'.

Well this was kind of the point I think.

In fairness, they'll both play at double figures this season.
One in the league, one in Europe and the cups.

Bringing Meijas back was a baffling decision.

I'm pretty sure Romero is still with them too? He's an excellent keeper who'd get into most teams.

Think Meijas was another woody special wasn't he? Bringing back all the friends of the club like Coyne, Leo and Tony Mac.

Surprised he didn't try and bring Cattermole in.
