I don’t blame voters for being sucked in to the trap though.
The media, (that’s print, televisual and social) have a hell of a lot to answer for. That’s where the real problem is, when junk tabloids can sway peoples voting decisions based on lies, misinformation, misrepresentation and lack of scrutiny, the system is broken.
Is it any wonder that people who have completely disengaged from politics, fall for the Johnson act when half the media is promoting him, and the other half is refusing to hold him to scrutiny?
The way to fix it, and get people engaged and informed politically, is definitely not to attack them for being manipulated by a system that is designed to do just that.

I'm not sure. Yesterday talking to a lad at work about the problems Johnson is having, his answer was politics is an age thing. He was not bothered.
He is a bright intelligent lad who simply has zero interest in politics. His view is his vote means nothing.

Teachers don't define what is taught, we teach the syllabus the government set out.
Teachers work hard to give kids skills in spite of that and if you had worked a day in education you would know that.

I'm a Labour voter like everyone else. He's behaving exactly how was predicted, so I won't apologise for the fact that I wasn't duped.
Nobody has died, he's just behaving embarrassingly and making The Conservative Party and everyone who voted for him look bad.
So stop clutching your pearls.
No , but the sad fact is the alternative was corbyn at the last election.
I know it’s not going to be popular on this board , but if the choice is a socialist Labour government or a Tory one, I would choose Tory . Yes, socialist governments are that bad
As Labour have moved to the centre again, I believe they’re electable again. It’s just a shame they haven’t got a Blair like character leading them.
God knows how corbyn would have responded to the Ukraine war . He’s known for being anti nato and anti nuke . Putin would have loved him. People say his opinions don’t matter now as he isn’t in charge. But it was a choice between him and Johnson at the last election essentially.
Johnson needs to go now though . Tempted to go Labour if they propose us joining the single market. I know it won’t happen yet , but there will be a path to it as elections go by
