If you've not tried McEwans 80 Shilling before it's a very good pint and must have if you're visiting North of the border. Head and shoulders above Tennents IMHO though very different drinks of course.

Ok, so in the Canaries, on my own for a week or so until Mrs F catches up. Tried to go out tonight for food and wine, but am suffering real bad with skin probs so had to abandon - truly schyte. Even turned down an invite to an Irish bar for the rugger, b***r. But anyway made a decent pasta dish and now drinking the very bog standard Vina Sol, it’ll do the job and hopefully tomorrow’s another day. The randomness of the universe threw this up music wise - although I can’t get ‘kiss me neath the milky twilight ‘ out of my head 😳😳
