*The Unofficial "official - "The Chase is on" - Boro v Stoke. Match-Day Thread*

Mcgree and Hackney looked poor tonight, but it was Howson and Ramsey who were subbed.

A point gained or two lost? Hard to say. If the Blades win tomorrow then two lost I guess.
Definately point gained as we certainly didnt deserve to Win, unfortunatley stoke where the better team but we showed resiliance and dug in and ground put a point, well done boys, if you cant win the game dont lose it.

On to Saturday UTB

The chase is still on. Sheffield United will lose games between now and the seasons end.
I'd this is our set back, and they win tomorrow, I'll take it.

No need for the sarcasm, I thought he looked lost tonight, but if you didn’t fair enough.
I think Finch will learn from the minutes he's gained but as you say, he's still a long way from being in the first team. He's obviously got it but stepping up into the first team is a huge step that will be managed carefully by Carrick.

There are now teams with nothing to play for in reality, some will go on the beach and others will become dangerous without pressure.
With Stoke, I think it is a bit more than that. It was mentioned that Stoke will have money to spend next season and they will be up there challenging for the play-offs next season. Some of them players will be playing for their futures in a good team.

Funny all the pundits on sky blamed steffan

They said he could have done better, which is fair enough, he probably could, but when a player is through one on one with the keeper and he has no idea where the attacker is going to put it there's always a good chance the ball can go in, however good the keeper is.
You conveniently forgot to mention how all the sky commentators spoke about how Steffen more than redeemed himself in the second half.

In fact, they started the highlights with Steffen's saves.
