It’s the passing here which is the problem, not the style or the ideas. We’ve played far too many passes far to ahead, or far too strong. The wing backs must be furious.
It’s strange as Stoke was the exact opposite with crisp passing.

We just look a bit frustrated.

Still think we’ll get back into it, they will probably sit. Back further and try to protect the win. But, we’re losing here and not playing that great, where as in other games it’s been different, we’ve played some good stuff.

Was a good finish but the defensive header was crap (straight to him) and not one Boro player was within 5 yards of him so couldn't close him down. Just poor defending - again - all round.
 
Wilder being out thought by a poor manager in Paul Ince says it all. Wilder still needs time for me, but he is getting it wrong more than he’s getting it right lately.

It’s easy to hide behind not having the right players in etc but it’s the same for everyone.

This has been nothing short of a terrible start to the season and it needs to improve ASAP!

You all absolutely blasted me for suggesting we might not be all that after pointing out we hadn’t won in 4 games. For all the lovely passing, the project and all his bluster. We look soft.

If you think these ‘lost’ points at the stage of the season don’t matter. You need to give your head a wobble, it’s been an awful start.
 
Forss needs to be playing alongside a bigger lad, against teams setting up against us like this, or someone who will pick up the ball from midfield, like Chuba was doing.

Do you not think there’s been a difference between other games and this one, regarding how we’ve played?

Of course lost points matter, but no need to throw the baby out with the bath water after 5 games.

Can't say he's done anything wrong today.

Fry's been hamstrung by being played as one of our "attacking" defenders, which isn't his game, but neither could have done anything about the goal in the centre.

It doesn’t matter how we’re playing if we’re not picking up points, essentially. Yes, at times we play some nice stuff. But a lot of the time we’re just pedestrian. We’re a soft touch at the moment. I spotted it early, a lot of people did. But there are a lot of oracles here who like to preach about how we’re ‘building something’ and try to bully anyone else with a different opinion.

But he’s not getting results, they’re going to start voicing their opinion soon.
 
I wonder if wilder will blame the ref again for not giving a foul in the build up to the goal. Could be a hatrick with the same excuse
