* The Unofficial "official" [no smartphone required] - Boro v Bradford Match Night thread *

I know it's a friendly, I know it's McNair's first game back, I know it's a random team selection but Bradford are league two pre season has been a proper struggle so far.

Hmmmmm.... lots of first impressions being made for me tonight. And not many good ones! We look wide open and passing has been dodgy. Flashes of quality going forward.

Glover - no chance with the goals but many will question his pass selection (particularly the first goal). Looks a little 'nervy' with the ball.

McNair - playing as right back. Decent passing and played a part in both goals. Not sure if he is leaving too much space for their winger but they have had joy down this side. Second goal coming from a cross.

Hannah - Seems to have struggled with Cook who is a bit of a handful. Again, he looks quite nervous and reactive.

Van Den Berg - Very comfortable on the ball but another who looks a bit 'rushed and panicky' when defending. Nice passing between the lines but not as dominant in the air for his size as I expected.

Coulson - generally quite positive with forward runs. Didn't overlap like Giles, tended to join inside.

Stott - First ten minutes he was a rabbit in the headlights. Totally off the pace - mugged for the first goal. Neat and tidy since then.

Payero - Game passed him by.

Jones - very lively. Made both goals. Our biggest threat.

Silvera - a few flashes

Weak as anything in the air. Richie Smallwood free kicks are causing chaos. Yes - seriously. 3-2 Bradford
