Matt Derbyshire still going strong. I see he's on the bench for them. Unusual seeing Hughes still as manager there. Must be aiming for at least the play-offs (a bit like us but obviously different divisions).
 
Akpom or the club must be saving themselves for something (either sold, sign a new contract or see out the final year). Maybe waiting to see if we get an acceptable offer before the window closes. Not ideal as we have 6 or 7 games before then. Ideally he should be available (if fit) and play for us until he gets either sold or doesn't.
 
Definitely mixing it up - Carrick must have some idea of who is likely to feature at the start of the season
Not long now and its the big kick off.

If anything it highlights how much we lack depth in the squad with academy players still featuring this close to the first game of the season
 
Think that lineup is to be expected when we have another friendly in a few days time.

Has Bilongo played left back at all this preseason? If he hasn’t, pretty much confirms that he’s not seen as one given the lack of depth there.
