Did I say sack him?

You've complained about people criticising him, saying they're just being fickle.

He's getting things wrong right now, and we're currently having the worst start to a season in our entire history, he should be criticised.

Don’t think that’s quite right because 12 would take us back to a run that included Luton which we lost but scored first in I thought? Eleven still shocking though.
 
Really got to try something different formation wise on Saturday as we don’t have full backs, simply got to revert to Wilder’s tactics. In fact Chris is still out of work….have you seen his CV?!

He’s all fur coat and no knickers. He had the chance tonight, twice, with time and space to find a good cross but failed. One of his crosses went ridiculously behind the goal. As usual, he faded again.

No, I said that sarcastically to your and other poster's comments. The thing is though, if you aren't going to back him, which you are very critical and vocal about, it tends to give people the impression that is what you want.

Personally speaking I certainly haven't turned against Carrick, what he did last season was not only remarkable, but the most fun I've had watching us in years? I respect him as a bloke and like his approach too.

But whilst he seems to have been shat on a fair amount by recruitment, he's certainly made some head-scratching decisions tonight

Very true.
 
His team selections don't seem to have a direct correlation to previous performances. I think he is trying to pick different teams for different opposition but maybe he should just do what worked last year, work out his best side and stick with it.
 
Can't be arsed trawling through these 40 pages but my view is we were godawful first half, while they were just poor and just edged it. We were second all over the park, lacked ideas and confidence.

Second half we really dominated. Everything good - and there was plenty - came through Jones. Silvera was pretty poor, Josh had a good game, was really strong on the ball and held it up well. Surely Jones has to start the next game.

Plenty still to work on but we could and should have won that. There is hope.
 
Well lenihan was man of the match for me. Held a ragged defence together on his own at times. Though the Dutch lad did ok. He's been asked to do some difficult jobs and he's not let anyone down.
Jones should be starting. Engel and Silvera need taking out the firing line. Like woodgate did for Bola. They look a division below the standard. Josh showed up well in the second half. Could really do with some pace alongside him though, which crooks can't provide.
Mcgree should be starting every game. We really need Smith back. I would keep rav in at left back.
