* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Norwich Match-Day Thread *

Favourite win this season. We were really having a tough time getting control of the game in the second half but we defended really well and made it hard for them to break us down. And then when we did get a chance to kill the game we took it.

Sam Greenwood, despite my hatred for his shots from 25 yards when we have better options, is great defensively on that left side and works really hard pressing the ball.

Hackney rubbish again, would never be able to cope in the premier league when he’s struggling week in week out against championship midfielders.. Premier league teams are best of not wasting their time even scouting him, he definitely won’t end up playing for England alongside Bellingham

🙄 I’ll think what I like thanks, I thought we worked extremely hard for that win, it wasn’t easy by any stretch.
By all means feel free to think what you want ..... as will I, and I agree we worked hard but we never looked like losing that

Same score as last year 1-2 , plus the goal to win or cement the win scored in 90+2 again. plus had an Aussie scoring good goal for us . I tell you, weird symmetries are happening this season

That’s the win of a promotion side. Really looking forward to Leicester at home in a few weeks. Reckon that’ll be this season’s Sheffield United away.

Exactly. People demanding subs at a time when subs would have struggle to get into the flow of the game. Carrick (and the coaches) acted once the game started to break up a bit.
Think they were maybe 10 mins late with the first sub, a couple of them were on empty for a period of time. We got away with it though

Fair view of the game on their forum.

Our ex England International, FA Cup, Champions League, Premiership, League Cup,winner......is just what we needed. He insisted on persevering where others would give up.
Flipping triffick innit.
Limbs an all in the away end at that East Anglian outpost.
Cracking to see the younger lads coming through and showing confidence.
Disappointed we are only in 7th place - thats because we have a poor recruitment team and Steve Gibson hasnt sold out to some Chinese blokes he met in The Bongo.
Bring on Stoke!
