* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Norwich Match-Day Thread *

Brilliant.. lads ran themselves into the ground tonight but, unlike last season, we have some real depth on the bench, even with all the injuries.

Engel with another fantastic performance and great to see another of the less fancied players, Silvera, come on and have his big moment!

UTFB!!!

Carrick really does know his onions, let Norwich blow themselves out chasing the equaliser then put some pace on at the end to pull them all over. Not without its risks of course but it's great to watch
Exactly. People demanding subs at a time when subs would have struggle to get into the flow of the game. Carrick (and the coaches) acted once the game started to break up a bit.

We had to graft for that. On Saturday we had to wait and wait and wait and then we pinched the goal at the death. We deserved the win but had to be really focused and stick to the plan, not do anything foolish. In previous games we’ve played some really excellent football. We blew Sunderland to bits.

We’ve showed so much variety in our football in recent weeks, we are a far more rounded team that we were last season IMO. We have multiple ways to win and all the attacking players are scoring and making goals.

I’m so pleased and optimistic about us. I absolutely love it.
