I'm guessing he's carrying an injury, in normal times , would be operated on and he'd have six weeks out .
Hats off to the lad for offering half hour , as he's got a Long and lucrative career that could be bolloxxed by playing injured .

I was firstly disappointed in Carrick not changing the side but then I think it's probaly good man management if it pays off as he's giving the lads the opportunity to finish their chances tonight as the Rotherham performance was decent just didn't take the chances

I think it's alot for Clarke to play games so close togeather after his lengthy injury will be about building his fitness.

Thing is, we did create some good chances and even if just one had gone in then it would have been a completely different game.

I'm not that negative after games like that, yeah mega frustrating but 9 times out of ten we win that game comfortably.

Pretty positive about tonight, just hope we can bag first.

When players are coming back from injuries or there are changes, it's squad rotation that the manager feels is needed it doesn't mean that player have been dropped, it's a long season and we need to use the squad wisely, people seem to jump on the dropped scenario, also when coming back from injury the players are not ready to start and this is the same all across football, we don't need to look for any issue in every decision, just trust the management team to be doing what's right for the players and club.
