Blamed Crooks for going to ground and getting booked 'again'. He got hooked straight after. So maybe not tactical.

I'm sure he's frustrated as we defended so well. Conceding off a set play should be avoided as you will work on that all week. You can't legislate for missed chances.

To lose to a team who have been top of the league [apart from one game] all - season, is no mean feat.
We we managed a draw at their place at the start of the season.
Not many can say that.
Leave it to Chris Wilder - he knows what hes doing.
Hes preferable by far, from what we had before - make no mistake.

Crooks was poor tonight, too many weak touches and not using his size as an advantage, not sure if he’s carrying a knock but doesn’t seem to be at the races at the moment

Just seen someone on Facebook blame Lumley for their goal… yeah that point bank bullet header that that completely unmarked bloke scored. I imagine if they could, some people would also blame him for Watmore and Coburns misses too!

Just back - got to say I am a bit down, first half we were poor but second half went for it and if we actually had a striker we would have at least had a point - gutted.

Mitrovic was the difference. If we had Mitrovic in our team, we'd have won that game tonight.

We seemed to be happy to allow them to have the ball 1st half and keep our shape, then had a proper go 2nd half. It felt quite similar to the Spurs game really. We had a spell 2nd half where we really had them on the back foot and the crowd were right behind the team but the goal was a real sucker punch.

When you haven’t got a centre forward you need someone to hold the ball up in that final 3rd and either lay it off or turn and shoot , uche would of been a good replacement for sporar who just isn’t right at the moment .

The biggest miss tonight was not surprisingly Jones at right wing back. I thought Bola was superb in an attacking mode when he came on. If we can get both fit and firing then we will create chance after chance. Coburn was desperately unlucky not to score but on the positive side, he seems to have a fantastic instinct for finding goal scoring opportunities. We played well and wil be smarting after that I wouldn't be surprised if thats the last time we lose this season

Wilder .........

“The goal against us is a really poor one. It’s really poor challenge from Crooksy, gets booked. Of course in our preparation, we are going to talk about Mitrovic and his runs and where he wants to get into. He wants to get into the middle of the goal. We’ve switched off and we’ve not blocked that run off. They’ve stretched the zone too easily and then we are on the back foot."

“Really, I believed up to that point in the second half, we were on the front foot. For me, I felt more that we were going to go on and win the game than lose the game. Ultimately we’ve lost it but I don’t know how."

“Even after the Mitrovic goal, we’ve done more than enough to get back into it and get something from the game but we obviously haven’t."

Wilder got it wrong tonight with his team selection.

As much as people moan about them, Balogun and Connolly is our best partnership. Sporar has done nothing for months and Watmore is an impact sub. The only one who has a case to start is Coburn.

As soon as I saw Jones was out (which couldn't be helped) with Peltier and Taylor at full-backs, and we were playing Watmore and Sporar I was deflated.

We just didn't offer enough in the final third.

Do you agree that Sporar could be on his way at the end of the season?
He sometimes appears as if hes playing on his own. Hes his own type of player - but if you compare him to either Watmore or Coburn - he doesnt take chances or muscle-in to get the ball. Looks at times like he`s lost interest?
Just a passenger.
Hope he pulls round asap for the run-in.

I actually think we should have had all 3 points last night. Yes Fulham are clearly a better side than us but the first half was fairly level (we actually had the best chance) and we were all over them second half. One error and poor finishing has cost us.

For Marco Silva to admit that's their toughest game of the season should be seen as a massive positive.

Chris Wilder has got so much right - hence the transformation. Last night? Wrong team. Peltier, Sporar ( who will be sent packing at the end of the season) and Taylor I believe should not have been starters. We picked up second half when 2 of them were subbed. Balogun should have been brought on IMO.
