Not sure how it’s 2-1 but we’ll take it. Hopefully he still makes changes at half time and that doesn’t disguise how bad it was.
 
That’s three halves of football on the bounce where we have conceded an early goal.. that’s nothing to do with coaching for me, that’s simply a lack of professionalism from the players who aren’t switched on from minute one.

Steffen has kept us in this and Duncan has now given us a chance.
 
Despite being absolutely shocking at the back (something which a new boss should be able to sort) it's the attacking third I worry about. We have noone to link midfield and attack, resulting in pointless channel balls or balls over the time.

No coincidence that one time a CM plays forward and gets their head up we get a goal.

We cant simply do everything down the wings, far too easy for opponents to defend, particularly now the little triangles have stopped working (or aren't even being attempted).

I can actually understand him trying two number 10s today to link play but unfortunately neither Watmore nor Hackney are that player.

I don't think he'll dare appoint Cattermole. But it feels like deep down he desperately wants to do it.

Like he's torn between his ultimate fantasy of the home grown local boy running the team and common sense.

His eyes must've lit up at the first hint of Cattermole doing well with the under 18s.

Agreed. Desperately in need of a refreshed game plan/formation/line up, but that doesn't excuse the players. Some pitiful performances so far.

It’s the cheapest option
 
A decent manager can easily get this squad into the top half, the question is will Gibson find one - if it’s Cattermole/Leo/Agnew forget it then forget it
 
Im hoping we were that bad we made blackburn look good. Just have a go and test them at least.
