Thanks Gravy - keep up the good work 😉
What a turnaround from half time v Sheffield Wed for the Boro.
Big well done to all at the club . UTMB
I’m still a bit of a loss tbh, great finish mind, just seems to drift about rather than have a definite role anywhere on the pitch

I think that might be the idea though? Mcgree is also allowed to drift wherever he feels he can cause most danger, I'm sure MC allows those 4 forward players a fair bit of leeway. Certainly when in possession.

Sadly, I have to work this afternoon but while I wait for a DB update to run I have amused myself reading the "analysis" on ReadyToGo.

If you have the time it is worth it for gems like
The lads never gave up — all credit to all of them.

The Borough didn’t deserve this win.
Ah-ha!
We were comfortably controlling the game first half and came close to scoring a few times. Must have watched a different match
Yes, indeed
Because Neil was frustrated at the ref allowing Boro to kick lumps out of us
But there are some who appear to have watched the same game
We were poor even with 11.
Call a spade a spade, that was ducking **** by the team, the manager, everyone, no ifs or buts.

Was laughing at them constantly repeating "It's their biggest game of the season" etc. I'd be interested to know what they think is their biggest game of the season.

McNair great again not sure how Lenihan gets back in...
Keeper Awesome again
Midfield Hackney & Barlaser bossed the middle of the park
Well played Greenwood, didn't miss McGree today
Jones great 2nd half

Well played the Boro ...UTB
I think McNair and fry play better as a pair than lenighan with either of them

Ratings for me

Dieng 9 - brilliant performance, made 3 or 4 top class saves to frustrate the makems, that long leg and studs to keep Roberts out was fantastic. We really do seem to have a long term custodian now

Smith 7 - tough ask to come in last minute against a tricky customer, did adequate in first half, and second half was a breeze for him. Good leadership to keep everyone focussed

Fry 6.5 - stood off a couple of times when not marking anyone but grew into the game and made better decisions

McNair 7 - played fairly well, slightly edged Fry at Cb

Engel 7 - steady enough, let Roberts inside once but generally another step forward in his adjustment to the champo

Hackney 7.5 - ran midfield for the first 20 and much of the second half

Barlaser 7.5 - best 90 in a Boro shirt, needs to repeat it against 11 men now

Jones 9 - made good decisions on the ball had their FB and Clarke second half we’re struggling to contain him

Crooks 7.5 - decent performance, best for a while. Good link up play, worked hard, ran himself into the ground after 60

Greenwood 8 - constant thorn, good ability on the ball, hard running off it

Coburn 5 - got sucked into proving who was the most physical first half instead of concentrating on his ball playing

Latte Lath 8 - frightened the life out of Sunderland defence, unlucky not to get on the scoresheet. Shot was effectively an assist. Had an impact

Rogers 7.5 - held the ball well, won a couple of free kicks and great assist for Jones goal. Had an impact

Forss 7.5 - worked hard and simple finish l. Had an impact.

Silvera 5 - ran around a bit

Bangura n/a - not on long enough, but seemed to be ordering people about and organising the defence straight away

Carrick 8.5 - got all the decisions right, got them organised and focussed to rip Sunderland apart second half after the sending off, most of his subs had an impact
