The United ***show of America

That's because socialism is a dirty word in america. The press have managed to win the argument that socialism = communism and is theft. It isn't but the vast majority of the US public are either too daft to see it or know the truth but it doesn't benefit them.

Don't disagree my friend, algorithms are just exploiting this premise to the 'nth' degree.

So, Trump, Pence and his cronies are getting tested a lot. Those going anywhere near them are getting tested too. And yet, the good folk of America are being cast as 'warriors' in the battle to Make America Great Again and there's no comprehensive testing plan for them to go back to work or indeed any downward trend of infections or deaths.

Outbreaks in meat packing plants are causing issues in the supply chain across the US. As with the video above there does seem to be a conscious demonisation of the low paid workers who staff these plants and the Republicans are increasingly seeming to be trying to further divide the populace.
Watch this piece below, particularly the mobile device mapping at the end that demonstrates how those who work at one plant in Cass County spread across the entire US as part of the meat processing and supply process.

The are absolutely demonising their own people. I had seen the piece where the Judge butts in and says "its just the meat packers not the regular folk" and the Republicans blaming the workers for getting the virus other places then going to work. Time for the American people to wake up to whats going on or soon it will be their turn to take the blame.

But ir's not is it. It is up to individual States when they want to open up the economy. Here's a little stat to show how different it is here in Tennessee than in Teesside. TN population (approximates) 6.829 million COVID deaths 237. Teesside population 672,500 COVID deaths 1,418. As you can see TN has a population 10 x greater than Teesside and total deaths are only 1 sixth of Teessides.

I'm guessing that is because very few people with the infection have reached TN so far. The infection hit in the east and west coast hotspots, the tourist and business regions. The vast majority of deaths and infections are in a handful of stats. There is probably very little immunity in TN and unless there is a control method then a full opening up would likely see huge outbreaks in TN sooner or later. They need to have controls in place first. Proper track and trace, PPE, anti-body passports etc.

Pence pres sec tested positive today, apparently new order every one has to wear masks around trump in west wing.

tick tock.

Boromart. That could be true but to think Tennessee is in the backwoods is wrong. We have COVID here but as a state we ate not densely populated. Memphis Nashville have the highest number of infections and deaths and have the highest population density. Housing projects, apartments and closer dwellings never to each other.

I don't know TN at all. Can you close your borders to surrounding states? Or maybe if there are other next door states also doing well, you could have a combined external border that you record entrants, require self isolation, and do police checks on with big fines. Exemptions for supply chain transport, but requiring self isolation while in the state.
Hopefully you're doing track and trace of all contacts for every positive case.

Worst case is if Trump gets it but recovers. His already deranged behaviour will go up to 11 when he thinks he is invincible and anyone who fears the virus is a miserable coward.

He’s already said he’s going to be tested but only for antibodies as he thinks he’s already had it.

so that ego is in full force.

“I will do that," Trump said in an interview with "Fox & Friends" about taking the antibody test. "Who knows, some people had it and they didn't even know they had it."
