In terms of quality, I’m sure they are the best in my lifetime, though I never saw Wilf, Cloughie, George etc live.

Pallister was quality too. Not as classy as Maddren, but bigger and stronger and respected at the highest level.
Ripper was the best winger in the country. Boksic was the best in Europe, as was Rav when they signed. Emerson was unreal. Merson had it all.

If George Boateng or Graeme Souness was in our lineup, I couldn’t see us losing!

Yes I almost included Boateng in mine, but I'd struggle to choose who's the best midfielder out of George, Mendieta and Zenden, all had so many attributes, too hard to chose so I didn't pick any!
