The season should never have restarted.

Why discuss the fans? We can't even go to the games. Us fans are the last to be considered. It wasn't about fans, it was about TV and money.

But as seen as you mentioned Charlton fans, I take it you're suggesting they would not have been happy with relegation? Well I believe that the season should have been voided completely, no promotion, no relegation.

The season finished differently to the one that started.
This now looks like sour grapes due to us being in a precarious position, but I have been saying this long before we agreed to start. The whole league should have been null and void, but the money men won.

They have introduced extra subs and drinks breaks that will eventually be taking up by an advertising spot.

I have mentioned it before that I won’t watch the Boro live again and truthfully speaking, I don’t think they will be too bothered and the players have showed they are not by walking away.

Sky and BT Sports have also been cancelled and other than on the local news, I haven’t watched a ball kicked since the restart.

I don't really see that as being different to an injury crisis at a particular club. Those aren't fair either, but we accept them as part of the game.

Nonsense.
That's fate, this is contracts not running till the end of a season.
One is entirely preventable, the other is luck of the draw.

Amused more than upset! I hear the "it's all about money/tv" argument a lot. No one can actually explain why though. I always find it funny when people make claims based on gut feelings that fall apart when asked why they say that!
I’ve explained this to you before, but you don’t seem to listen. The league came out and said they had to restart due to the financial implications of the TV companies and the money they would claw back. Many teams had already spent their 30 pieces of silver.

I really liked Reach.
Thought we should never have got rid of him.
But there you go.
steady pro at this level, quality left foot, maybe lacks a little pace and he was a 60minute player when he was with us, I think he has generally improved that part of his game.

It wasn't part of the game as per the rules written and agreed by all participating clubs at teh start of the season. If the goalposts move then so does the integrity. This isn't me with my brown pants either, I said it was wrong to restart from a sporting perspective when it looked like all our players were returning and Charlton were going to lose Lyle Taylor and others. I said if they went down under those circumstances it would be wrong

No fans in grounds, new rules and fans being charged to watch a game that is like a training ground match.

If it wasn’t about money, why didn’t they allow the lower divisions and non leagues to restart?
No fans in grounds? So it’s about the money yet they restart without gate receipts and concessions takings?

Dear the football league. I would be grateful if all results from 1997 onwards could be made null and void. This is because mark schwartzer was injured for the last few weeks of the season. This has subsequently destroyed the integrity of all football played since. This is the fairest way to resolve things and ensure it isn't "all about money".

To use our next fixture:

Middlesbrough have lost Morrison, Moukoudi, Ayala, Gestede and Shotton.

Sheffield Wednesday have lost Steven Fletcher (their top scorer), Fernando Forestieri, Morgan Fox, Shaun Hutchinson and Sam Winnall.

All because the season has went beyond the 31st of June, there are key players in these lists.
Similar has happened at Charlton, at Hull and at many other clubs in the Championship.
It's completely gutted the integrity of the season.
