No, that was next door, this used to be called The MarquisDid one of those used to be called the Central?
Don't always believe what you hear. Can't say I've ever been there when it was either? Heard it was rubbish and full of idiots? Reputation is enough to keep me away tbh. Poster above mentions overpriced beer elsewhere, I'd rather take the extra cost on the chin and have a pint less, for a nice pint and a decent atmosphere.

Remind me not to go in days you do. I must have been in 100's of times and never seen the doorman inside sorting any issue.Only been in this place a handful of times in each guise and there was fights every time. The people in it looked rough as a boot, some in a right state. Wasn't it Huxters for a while as well?

Not necessarily a different planet, but just perhaps not there? These are just the ones severe enough to get into the papers. You get trouble everywhere though, am sure most places have similar stories, just every time I have gone there its been full of people I wouldn't want to walk into accidentally, and seen some chew going down.Remind me not to go in days you do. I was even chatting to two Derby fans in there, I must live on a different planet.
