You surely can’t be that ignorant?

What do you think happens when half of the planet becomes uninhabitable due to rising temperatures and when rising sea levels flood huge swathes of land?

Where are the displaced people housed? How are they fed? And that’s before we consider the changes due to the inevitable destruction of natural habitats.

Is that definitely going to happen? Yes if we do nothing it is 100% inevitable.

Will taking action guarantee it doesn’t happen? Maybe not absolutely guarantee, but we should try. Do you expect 100% certainty of outcome on every decision you make in life?

If it happens we’ll deal with it - there are huge swathes of the planet which are habitable now that are practically empty. I don’t think it’s going to happen in the way predicted. There has been a large swing towards controlling and conditioning the general population by means of fear. We saw it with Covid and now we’re seeing it with so called climate change. The climate may well be changing but whether we’re responsible for it, or indeed if we can halt or change that is another matter. What we do know is that the planets climate has changed constantly throughout history, long before we ever arrived on it’s surface

I’m hurtling towards that cliff but I won’t change direction. If I fall off the cliff I’ll deal with it when it happens.

As I’ve said, they could have done something about it in the 1970’s when they first started chanting about this but what did they do ? Nothing - trust me these feckers that run the world would have been stopping every car an plane way back then if they thought they were going to die as a result of it - now it’s seems to suit their agenda it’s all hands to the pump. Sorry but i know a rat when i smell one

Never said there was. It seems to me though those under 45 are now been punished with unsustainable taxes, fuel prices, etc in this race to net zero, which it's goalposts will keep moving until we are all eating bugs and staying at home.
 
You can stick out as many warnings as you want yet I'll guarantee A&E will be packed with sunburn victims. That or the coastguard and ambulance services stretched with issues near water. Its all pretty basic stuff that people should already know.

I have no doubt I'll read a story about 'lizzy' spending a day on Bournemouth beach and getting 3rd degree burns. Then moaning about A&E taking 8 hours to see her.

It's hot for 2 days. The way its being reported you'd think it was Armagedon. They do the same when it snows.

To be fair, you set me up for that one.

I would say that it’s actually precisely because I don’t always think I’m right, and I’ve been spectacularly wrong in the past, that I now have to go and check the full facts and get the full picture.

You can’t post things that clearly insinuate something, (ie coldest months on record in Antarctica, therefore nothing to worry about and global warming a myth) and then get upset if somebody comes back with the all important context that you’ve neglected to add, which tells a different story to the one you are telling.
I mean, that’s just as bad as the MSM manipulating stuff, and you hate that.
 
I said months ago that the covid misinformation grifters who have completely fooled the likes of Randy and Funky were changing tack as the covid gravy train was coming to an end, and they’d started focussing on net zero and climate change as their next play.
And lo and behold, the boards two most easily manipulated posters are here in a thread started by one of them, spouting the most dim witted arguments and pushing misinfo pumped out by the usual suspects and grifters on social media.
It would be funny if it wasn’t so tragic, as I’m sure they are nice blokes, which is why people engage.
The rabbit hole is too deep for these lads.

I’ve never denied there may well be a change in the global climate - I’ve pointed out that it is normal for such things to happen and that we have no control over it
