Evening all. Watching the Poland v Austria match from a stadium I saw probably my first match in in about 1978 to see Kevin Keegan's SC Hamburg playing Hertha BC.
Tonight I shall mostly be drinking Heineken 0% which was supposedly on offer in Sainsbury's but I didn't seem to get the reduction at the till, couldn't be arsed to argue. Got too much on my mind with cataract surgery coming up on Monday. Nearly 6 months AF and I could murder a single malt...
Anyways, been a good week, met a stalwart of the board and saw a band I've been wanting to see for years at the superb Piece Hall in Halifax. Here's the song they finished with.

My train of thought is simply there'll be a lot more midweek drinking than usual for the Euros and so perhaps a one off mega thread would have been more apt.Oi - stop being lazy and get a new thread up for this week

It's a lovely 25C here in Chicago and I (technically) broke up for summer on Tuesday. Been working in the garden but have come inside to watch the France v Netherlands game.
