I guess with all this - you need to see an endgame the sooner the better. I think most people won't want this conflict going into another winter - mainly for the sake of lost lives. It seems Russia/Putin is willing to keep sacrificing soldiers until the battle is won/or a large win can be publicly shown. Let's hope Ukraine can strike a major and decisive offensive in the next six months that even Putin can't ignore.

things sometimes "just" happen unexpectedly to change the direction of wars - internal issues, a power grab, a death etc - but this one surprisingly hasn't thrown one up big enough to change things.
Change has very much been incremental in this case. Looking back afterwards, I'm certain that there will be key/pivotal moments though.
This won't be that "event" .... but I have it on reasonable authority that you should have your eyes on the bridge and popcorn at the ready in the coming days.

This is a reasonable explanation of what UAF are doing in that area. Advances are made for political reasons, at huge cost. It's tough for the UAF, but their strategic long term goals are more important than ruined villages and fields.

To put it in perspective though, for the Russian defence minister to say they captured these two villages(see the Google maps satellite images attached) you know things are not going very well for the Russians.

Surely more weapons are needed to kick the invaders out sooner rather than later - and stop the killing as soon as possible. Although if Putin could remove itself from this planet - or be removed from this planet - that would be one death I'm sure many could live with
