When that bridge does go(beyond repair) strategically it won't be one of the most important moments in the war, but symbolically it will be up there with the sinking of The flag ship and the "warship go F yourself" on Snake Island.
What that bridge symbolises is the Russian oppression of Ukraine(restricted access to ports, built illegally on Ukrainian land etc etc) and illegal occupation.
Indeed. But I expect them to do it in such a way that it can be an easily repaired asset for the Ukraine when they finally defeat Russia and kick them out of Crimea.
But I'm doubtful that it has been done until I get confirmation.

My only reservation to the bridge coming down completely, would be that it takes away a route of retreat for the RF forces. Meaning that, in the event that Ukraine forces do break through, the RF forces have no option but to stand and fight, or surrender. Meaning they'll fight that bit more stubbornly.
In an ideal world, the bridge would be degraded, to such a low condition, that it could only support lightly armed pedestrian traffic (ideally headed back to Russia)...

The real targets were Sevastopol port and an airfield.
One more SU35 down today so far.
And this quite important news. Iran and N Korea have both stopped supplying shells.
Also, some key Russian units have moved away from the occupied territories ... some heading North but most heading East towards the China border.
The significance of this is still being worked out.

Thats a serious security breach. High level Generals having recorded audio in the hands of the Russians. Very embarrassing for the Germans. Of course, they're blaming Putin, but the clearly have a traitor at high level or nobody suspected the brand new plant pot left by the usually dependable Russian cleaner.
