Avoided it as the premise just seemed daft, plus thought it would be aimed at the US market. Watched the first episode last month after recommendation from a mate and really enjoyed it, so endEd up binge watching. Can be very funny and a big fan now.

Similar, found it “watchable” but couldn’t really get into it. Felt like it had been done before to a degree.

The 3rd is in danger of jumping the shark. Especially the Zava character. Zlatan could sue for that one. I still find it a life affirming series

First series good. Second went lame. First episode of third unwatchable and switched off at halfway mark. Ted still a good character but the rest and script truely dire. Just my opinion of course.

There was a BBC comedy called “First Team” or something like that. Wasn’t as good but a lot of the stereotypes etc were similar.

Yes very similar but nowhere near as good as Ted Lasso. As the Guardian at the time put it First Team was a sitcom fit for relegation.
