Tav - so I'll ask it again...

Tav is doing OK at the moment, he's always making himself available and tracking back, he will get back to his best, he is certainly doing no worse than most others but every time he makes a mistake people pounce on him, whilst others go without any criticism.

It's amazing how some posters can praise Chris Wilder to the hilt while indirectly saying he doesn't know what he's doing.
I think Wilder is doing a very good job but I disagree that Tav is playing well or deserving to start. It's not amazing to think that.

Its amazing to me to suggest he's not playing well enough to deserve a place in the team. He maybe isn't at his best, but he's still an important player in this team.
So he's in the team AND taking set pieces - how effective have his set pieces been recently?

Well instead of moaning after a fantastic result, the sort of hard-earned scrappy win that can define a successful season, why not give the character assassinations a rest for one night?

It didn't need to be hard fought, despite the win the performance was poor.

:ROFLMAO: haha what?

You realise there's two teams per game right? We were away from home and Blackpool were pressing and making it difficult. We'd have had a tought game tonight whatever Boro 11 you select.

I'm excited about Payero, he was looking really good before his injury or covid or whatever. But come on, a simple sub Payero coming back after weeks out for Tav doesn't turn that game in to an easy win.

Not at all sure what you mean, I'm not on here regularly criticising players but I have commented on this thread when people had a pop at Chris for commenting on Tav.

They didn't need to make it difficult, we did that ourselves. It wasn't a great performance at all - a good result yes, but we looked disjointed and unbalanced.
