What the hell does he bring to the team?

This is the ?7th game in the middle... He still offers nothing...gives the ball away in dangerous areas and going forward has very little idea of what to do with it.

Payero will soon be in the team ahead of him.

People cannot keep defending a player that offers no goals or assists....

Really? I will be very surpised to see him in the EPL. I really dont see anything exciting about him. He should not be playing every game. He will not be the reason why we will get promoted. In fact he would be the reason why we don't make it the premiership this year if he keeps playing for us.

Fry was immense.

The other thing he has in his favour is that he suits the CW system too. He's not playing well at the moment, but when it clicks for him he will be perfect for the system we're playing.

Agree about Fry.
 
We are a poorer side without him.

Although his finishing is borderline shocking. I don't think I've seen as bad. The guy doesn't just miss but it's usually by a mile.

I'm not sure how he gets better at it? 22 and over a 100 games for Boro. I can't see how he can improve. I guess you have it or you don't.

I really don't understand comments like that. He's been absolutely pitiful all calendar year and was never that great before it either.

He is our weak link in the team at the moment and he still struts around the pitch like he's the next Lionel Messi.

Not a fan at all. Never have been.

Payero needs to start getting minutes soon and eventually replace him in the team.

I really don’t understand comments like that at all. He works incredibly hard for the team, never hides and has become a critical part of the side under the last 3 managers.

Always been a fan, always will be if he keeps grafting - the luck will turn.

Payero needs to ensure when he gets minutes he contributes as much to the team as Tavernier does.

Mate i could go out there and "work incredibly hard" and "not hide".

Doesn't mean i'm good enough.
 
He was top again today he does work off the ball you's don't understand. He closes down dribbles passed players in midfield. It's harder to make an impact in midfield than it is on the wing. It's the same people who sagged of Howson and Saville
