Not a bad overall performance today from Zack. Ok, the first goal might be aimed at him but I generally thought it was the result of (the team) being slow out of the blocks. Moreover, Berge definitely had too much room to maneuver across the box and fire his shot across the keeper.

After that Zack definitely started to dominate his penalty area, making some terrific saves from Fleck and a few others.

Akpom may have got man of match but I think Steffan really made a difference today, and is starting to perhaps show signs of why CW signed him.

Im not sure we have the quality of players to be able to play a sweeper keeper. Playing out of defence is ok for the Man Cities of this world but at Championship level and a team like us that find it hard to score goals a slip in defence can mean a game lost before it has started.

I believe it’s small steps to repair Zack’s confidence. There’s no doubt he’s been very indifferent form wise since he’s been at Citeh, so I’m hoping yesterday’s second half performance can be the start of a major return to form.

Yes I thought he did well

He can't be blamed for Berges goal, right in the corner, excellent finish. However he should have been closed down before being allowed time, space to compose himself and pick his spot.

From BBC match report:
"Home goalkeeper Steffen will perhaps think he should have done better with Berge's opening goal for the Blades, as his low shot seemed to go through the USA international."

That's a bit harsh, it's like some media outfits are just waiting to pounce on any Steffan mistake however slight, willing him to fail.

Thought it was a more encouraging performance from him yesterday.

I feel like he maybe should have saved the opening goal, but through the rest of the game he was good and made some key contributions.

thats right the bbc media have a specific agenda against a man city reserve keeper

Not at fault at all for first goal, I was right behind it, theBBC journo must have spent too long on the bar.

I thought yesterday began to show why he was brought to the club, solid display and acted as our pivot playing across the back line.

He'll prove to be a great signing for sure.

Honestly I don't see how he could have done any better with the first goal, nobody closed down Berge and it was a great finish right in the corner
Commanded his area well and made some great saves, good decision making to.

I think he did ok. I wouldn't say he's quite convincingly "steady" yet, but he's not played many games in the last couple of years.
He made a couple of good saves, and came out and made a couple of decent punches also. I thought there was one situation he didn't take command of and got in a bad position but i can't remember what the scenario was now in truth.

Talk Sport commentator seemed to have it in for him, after blaming him for the goal he then said the trouble is every time I’ve seen Steffan play he has a rickett in him.

I thought you’ve probably seen him once before and that was in the semi final of the FA Cup.

I'm hoping through more more games his confidence grows just has to stop making mistakes for that to happen. As was a nervy moment when he run out for the ball lost it then their striker hit the side netting. Also was a few nervy punches
